Connie Crawford-Rodriguez has a long history and wealth of experience in the field of education. She holds a BA in Bilingual Education, an MA in Counseling Psychology and has enjoyed 35 years as a passionate and dedicated educator. She is  certified in and has taught all core subjects (including English as a Second Language) in the middle school grades, as well as Humanities in high school. She was instrumental in the start-up of a new high school in Boston, MA, a new elementary school in Miami, FL and was the founding principal of a charter middle school in Miami, FL.

Connie also has extensive experience in curriculum development, working with international education organizations, including Expeditionary Learning Outward Bound, Voices of Love and Freedom, the Coalition of Essential Schools, and the International Baccalaureate Organization (IBO). Oh, and she was a Peace Corps Volunteer in the 80s and is a CrossFit glutton for punishment! Her Spoken Word Poetry workshop last year was a favorite class at Yellow Wood.
